What's the myStory service about?
You (the aggrieved consumer) submit your complaint story online using our clik2complaints myStory submission form
A clik2complaints editor will Read, Edit and prepare it for publication on a Dedicated myStory Page (example)
The relevant company is issued a 72 hour pre publication warning by email with details of the aggrieved customer's story and contact details and invited to exercise a Right of Reply response
The myStory page is published and an email sent to the company with details of the web page address on clik2complaints.co.uk
The myStory page is used to invite, collect and publish other consumer comments about that story so that details of the company's actions (or lack of actions) to the specific complaint is kept in the Public Domain.
Isn't this the same thing as the Sounding Board?
No, it is not.
Sounding Board is our popular online forum that allows you to 'name and shame', share stories with other UK consumers, get advice from other consumers on how best to resolve a particular complaint or grievance you may have with a company/service provider/product.
myStory is a bit more than that. It is a webpage dedicated to your grievance and to which clik2complaints editors specifcally notify the relavant company by email of its existence. The company is given the opportunity of a right of reply (before and after your story is published). clik2complaints editors maintain the page and publish any updates based on feedback from the company you complained about.
Will it help me get a result?
It has helped many aggrieved consumers get a satisfactory result in the past.
The formular is simple, combining the facts of your story with a public domain platform gets you a quick and fair result from that company who has failed to deliver on a promise. Sometimes all you need to get a quick resolution is to simply bring the matter into the light! Unfortunately, due to the popularity of the service in the past, we had to withdraw it as demand exceeded our capacity.

How much does it cost?
Freewill donations may be accepted via paypal on successful publication and update of a myStory page. However, this will not be compulsory and is there to give users the opportunity to support the ethos and mission
of clik2complaints by contributing to the website hosting and administrative costs.
