COMPANY RESPONSE
13 September 2008
Dear clik2complaints, The customer purchased from us five and a half months ago an O Baby Atlas stroller for £49.99. The customer has said she has been trying to contact us by email and phone numerous times since June. Having scanned the history of all incoming emails we have no record of her trying to contact us and no record of an incoming call from here, the 12/9/08 was the first time we have had contact with her. In the last 3 days BT have had a fault with their internet phone system

Pushchair purchased 04/08, by 06/08 foam handels slipped down and unable to be slipped back up. Tried in vain to contact company via web link and phone number on site 05600752587 which states it is an internet phone which will only be answered between 10am and 1pm. IT IS NEVER ANSWERED AND THE MESSAGE REPEATS "THIS MAIL BOX IS FULL AND CANNOT TAKE ANY MORE MESSAGES" Continued to leave increasingly annoyed mail. Finally today tracked them down via Yell and have been told that if I SHIP IT BACK TO THEM THEY WILL REPAIR HANDELS OR THEY CAN SEND SOME IN THE POST. No apology or explanation as to not getting back to me sooner and no indication that I am within my consumer rights to return faulty goods. Whilst even suggesting that it is an insignificant detail, not when you consider the foam is there so we can keep a good grip on the pushchair holding our precious child!!!!

What have you attempted to do so far?
As above, mailed and called twice a month via website between hours of 10am and 1pm, no answer. Spoke to manufactures O'Baby today (Lianne) who have said contract is with him and there is nothing more they can do.

Why you feel your complaint has not been fairly or properly addressed by the company?
There website is misleading as the numbers and links are not valid. Had I been able to get hold of them in June I would have been happpy for replacement handels but I have not been able to use the pushchair as it strains my hands and in the heat metal is too hot and during the rain too slippery to be safe!
